Generation is the first draft. Everything after is scoped: changing one scene does not regenerate the whole film.
Iterate from OUTPUTS
On a finished (or failed-with-media) card, use the tile toolbar and More:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Redo | Re-run that leaf (new still or clip) with the same bind |
| Replace | Swap the take |
| Remove | Drop a scene from an idle General Video (not Combined/master) |
| Animate | Image-to-video from a still (re-seeds when the act or camera changes) |
| Extend | Continue a video from the last frame (not a still-only control) |
| Edit | Instruction-scoped change; needs a beat when the leaf requires one |
| Use as input | Attach the file to the composer for the next Send |
Iterate follows file → producing-run lineage. It does not rebind the session to a different catalog workflow. At most a few leafs run in parallel; a cap returns a clear error rather than stacking silently.
Face-swap / likeness edits require an explicit consent check at execute.
Production edit (idle General Video)
When a General Video run-group is idle (succeeded or a user-fail with media), structured ops are available from chat (dialogue, music, add scene) via the production-edit path — not a full iterate execute. Combined/master has no Redo. Film sequences that are namespaced may require a replan instead of add_scene.
Identity and audio
Subject plates, wardrobe, and designed voices persist across edits. Re-animating a speaking scene keeps the visual contract and re-bakes the line unless you change the words. Broadcast masters stay frame-exact when you asked for :15/:30/:60.
When to edit vs start over
- Iterate / production edit when the take is right and a detail is wrong.
- + New generation when the concept changed. New does not unload the document; it mints a fresh session. Use Use as input if you want a prior still in the next brief.
For lineage, open Nodes. There is no separate “step-by-step pause the whole pipeline” mode on the platform path — QC and parks already stop spend when something cannot ship.
